I have ready every manuscript, every story, every everything aloud, often to my sleeping husband. I tell my students to do the same. Reading aloud lets you catch mistakes, allows you to feel the flow, and makes it all come together in ways that reading silently allows you to miss. I love your idea of "digging a deeper well". I've come to the realization that is what we must do if we want to write. And many writers have other jobs - I freelance too. But I also know that there is sacrifice with love - and if we love to write we must sacrifice at times. For me, it's sleep too. I often set my alarm for 4am to get the words done. I love how your father inspired you in a dream!DonnaGalantihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16936331145444649588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173408054965817352.post-68671800151865940262016-04-22T15:38:16.978-05:002016-04-22T15:38:16.978-05:00So inspiring! So inspiring!Caroline Starr Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04597510685273079757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173408054965817352.post-47072979299325861972016-04-22T15:29:14.729-05:002016-04-22T15:29:14.729-05:00You are awesome and your insights particularly mea...You are awesome and your insights particularly meaningful... thanks for sharing.
