We'd love to hear from you today.
Yes YOU.
We've got questions for you!
Question 1:
Question 2:
And, for extra credit:
(gotcha, Hil! Possums FTW!)
The last question we can't put into a poll. You'll have to tell us below.
What are you interested in hearing about from us? ... it's up to you. What do you want to know from your Project Mayhem peeps?
We already know, for the most part, what Young Adult fiction is saturated with (namely, vampires, zombies, angels/demons, dystopian). What do the Project Mayhem folks see as trends in middle grade, and how do you go about keeping your ideas original?
ReplyDeleteOh Jess, this is AWESOME. We can get editors and agents involved in this too! I love your question and topic!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE!
THANK you for commenting with it!

ReplyDeleteHa, ha! ;)
I would like to hear more about the agent process. How did everyone find theirs??
ReplyDeleteIs it me or am I the only one seeing a big blank square for question one?
ReplyDeleteI would like to hear some encouragement.
All anyone talks about any more is the death of print and books and literacy, and I would like to hear that I wasn't born 50 years too late to make a living as a writer.
I really like Jess' question. I'd like to see a discussion of how we promote middle grade books online and other ways, any agent recommendations, good middle grade books, is there an upper middle grade vs middle grade distinction for kids in middle school & what's the upper age level of characters to be considered middle grade. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMG Sci-fi looks like a good place to be :)
